We are Clarise and Bradley, the couple behind ILO STUDIO. We’re based between Toronto and Vancouver, usually with our Shiba Inu, Groot, keeping us company while we edit, plan, and dream up the next adventure.
We photograph and film weddings for couples who want the day to feel honest, personal, and full of the people they love. Our work is shaped by real moments, thoughtful direction when needed, and a love for images that feel warm, nostalgic, and full of feeling.

The Team
Meet Clarise
Hi, I’m Clarise, a wedding photographer based between Toronto and Vancouver, and one half of ILO STUDIO.
Before weddings, I worked on film sets as a lighting tech on productions like Percy Jackson, Goosebumps, and Shōgun. It taught me how much feeling lives in light, timing, movement, and atmosphere, and how much intention goes into making something feel effortless.
Outside of weddings, I’m usually watching A24 films, Studio Ghibli movies, or 80s Hong Kong films, saving mid-century interiors and cozy spaces, trying new food spots, spending time outdoors, or getting humbled at a bouldering gym.
On a wedding day, I’ll give direction when it helps, fix the little things when I notice them, and look for the light that makes everything feel a little more alive. But more than anything, I want to help you remember the people you love, and the feeling of being there with them.

Meet bradley
The other half of ILO STUDIO, and the eye behind our wedding films.
Before ILO STUDIO, Bradley spent years in hospitality, private clubs, and events. He knows how to read a room, keep things moving, and help people feel at ease.
As a videographer, he’s drawn to the rhythm of a wedding day, the way it sounds, moves, and slowly becomes a memory. His films are thoughtful, grounded, and full of the moments that make the day feel alive.
Outside of weddings, he’s happiest outdoors, working on tech projects, building LEGO, playing video games, or hanging out with Groot, who is basically Bradley in dog form.
His goal is simple: keep the experience easy, notice the beautiful little quirks that make the day yours, and make a film that brings it all back.

Meet Groot, our very official HR manager. He takes snack breaks seriously, keeps morale high, and reminds us daily that the best moments are usually the simple ones.
He may not reply to your inquiry, but he fully supports all love stories, all chosen families, and any celebration with good snacks and your favourite people.
Why We Photograph Weddings
The Heart Behind the Photographs
I think I’ve always been sentimental.
I moved from Harbin, China to Vancouver when I was 15. For a long time, life felt like leaving, missing people, and trying to hold onto little pieces of home.
Photos became my way of keeping them close. They let me return to a feeling, a place, a person, even after life had already moved on.
That’s why weddings feel so meaningful to me.
There are very few moments in life where everyone you love most is gathered in one place. The people who raised you, shaped you, grew up with you, and know all the different versions of you. I don’t take that lightly.
I’m not only looking for what was beautiful. I’m looking for what was yours. The familiar faces, the quiet hands, the way your people looked at you, held you, laughed with you, and showed up for you.
So years from now, your photos don’t just remind you what happened.
They bring you back to how it felt to be loved and celebrated by everyone there.
